Sounds like he has low self esteem...i speak from experciance. ...he must deserve someone like you if he has you as a girlfriend right? ITs just his way of telling you you are wonderful!!!

This is a polite way of saying that he does'nt deserve u, he is not good enough for u. What he means is that u are not made for each other. In love, real love, the differences vanish. In this case he is exaggerating the difference, as there is no love.

just talk to him about it.
see what he thinks.
ask him those question's
he might just be pulling a guilt trip for some reason.
if he still doesn't think he is good enough for you prove that you DON'T wanna be with any other guy and that no other guy BUT him deserves you.
take him out some where around a lot of guy's and dont take your eye's off him and always be chatting with him and showing affection prove your love for him and that he in fact IS good enough for you.
I hope it all work's out good for you :)
peace

he is being painfully honest about his emotions.
it is undoubtedly caused by a lack of experience with the opposite sex.
I suggest you devise a simple punishment, to be administered every time he starts spouting that crap.
20 push ups, or send him out to run around the block.
hopefully the exercise will get some blood into his brain and wake up his ideas.

may be that he committed something wrong and feels guilty towards you in his deep feeling , try to test that , if you discover that he has an honest feeling , give him some self confidence and tell him that everyone makes mistakes and it isn't the end of the world .

Could he be using this as an excuse to dump you? You need to observe his actions from now onward and decide for yourself if he's really good or bad for you.

you are not responsible for his depression. Read a book called "Women who love too much" and then take a call.
Personally, i would have told him to get rid of his complex or to get rid of me.
