yes, this is normal when your a beginner to exercise, stick with it though, the pain should only last a week or so, is important to keep doing your push ups though, if you stop now and start again later you will get the pains again. just your muscles feeling the strain, you might want to put the pressure on a little and aim to do as many push ups as you can without stopping, once your arms are over being sore that is. good luck

It just means you've done a lot of pushups and workouts. The reason you don't get sore anymore is because your own bodyweight isn't enough to truly push your muscles to the next level. Try doing pushups with your feet up high on a chair.

It is delayed onset muscle soreness due to micro tears in the muscle fibers. However, this is one of the stimuli for your muscles to adapt and overcompensate (grow in size). It is a good thing. Give yourself some rest because you had a good workout.

you are right , this is muscle tired which we call it as muscle fatique, you can do some gentle stretching before doing the exercises, if it is still sore just do for 50 rather than 100 rps.

It's due to lactic acid being built up in the muscles you're working.

it sounds like your muscle are overworked and they need to get rested at least 48 hours before working out on it again. You can apply "BENGAY" to help your muscle recover faster.
