Manny grew up in a hrash, povery-stricken province. He has experienced all that there is in hardships. I think this is the main reason why he can't say no, as Titus V has pointed out. He can't say no to a great deal of wealth since that kind of opportunity only comes about once in a lifetime. I do not blame him, for he is young in the world of business.
I personally feel, as a Filipino myself, that Manny should have chosen Golden Boy Promotions instead of Top Rank. As we all know, Bob Arum has had bitter relationships with his past superstars(e.g. Oscar de la Hoya.) I think it has mainly to do with money again. Every fighter that de la Hoya has held is experienceng adequate exposure and the proper treatment. Come on, everyone knows that Bob Arum will only use Manny for his business ploys again. This one may turn out to be a bitter relationship.

Manny should stick with golden boy stable.

Manny has a lot of problem's right now. He just dont know how to say no. Thats how Arum got to him. He might get into legal problems. And there is also the trust issue.

By the way he will be running for congress in the Philippines this year. Another case of he cant say no. Sometime he gets used by other people.

Speaking strictly from a boxer's perspective, most promoters are vampires, and Don King is Dracula. If you have the opportunity, the most fighter friendly promotional organization is Oscar's group, so go with "Golden Boy", they at least understand what it is to be a fighter. If you are dealing with the rest, you have to get a blood transfusion after every conversation with them.

Pacquiao would best be served by Golden Boy as well.

Golden Boy owns the right of worthy boxers. Manny should stick to him, not with Arum.
