I do. He was a great driver and an even better announcer. Watching a broadcast with Benny, Bob Jenkins, Ned Jarret and Jerry Punch was the best.

Benny Parsons will be missed by all of the Nascar fans. He touched the lives of many. He was a Daytona 500 Champion and a Nextel Cup (Winston Cup) Champion, He was also a winner. When I foun out that he died I cried. I miss him, when
TNT takes over for 6 races this year the announcment booth won't be the same

Racing legend.
How I would have liked to watch him race, but I wasn't a fan since. I did like his commentary.
Rest In Peace Benny Parsons

I know I do so much. I think alot of people will be missing BP this year. He had so much knowledge. He had away about him that just instantly made you feel comfortable. He could tell you things that were happening on the track in a away that even the most amature of us could understand. I know that he will also be missed thru out the garage this year, cause the drivers looked up to him. So I am sure that alot of people will miss him.

We will all miss B.P. He was a class act! He was a great race car driver in his time, and a pretty good commentator. I definately will miss his insight! I got the honor of meeting BP one time. It was the first race I ever went to @ Talladega, AL. I was star-struck. He was the first person on the NASCAR scene I got to see and meet. I'll never forget that day... We will miss you BP, and I'll forever miss the way he pronounced McMurray!!! "MacMarrey" lol, I loved that.

I certainly miss him. He was great for the sport in more ways then one. I agree that DW is an idiot. He may have been able to drive but he certainly can't be objected on the air. Maybe his brother Michael should be calling the nextel cup instead of driving. Benny had alot of very interesting things to say each week and a lot of good chatter about ALL the drivers......not just his favorites.

I will miss Benny and Bobby Hamilton, as well as many others.
But yes, I would take Benny any day of the week over Darrel, Jeff, and Wally!
