for 10g's and a mid size room
I would go Rotel, or Arcam after that I would look at the Yahamhas and Marzatz and Denon for the rec. around 1000-1300
for DVD player Oppo or Denon or Pionner elite, but the Oppo is the good, 1080p for 230
speakers B+W 699 per the 3 fronts =2100 then a little less for the rears or you could go Gallo, too 3.1 up front, a duo for the center and then 4 adiva in the rear
or if you and to save cash Paradigm
Paradigm Sub, get the servo seires, 1200, rip the paint off of the walls, yea Gallo and a 1000 other companys make great subs, but I love the Paradigm
so figure 6000 for sound, the Oppo is great, and it will do more then most stand alone cd players
and spend around 4000 on the TV, Tv is all personal tates, for me I bought the 56' JVC 1080p LCOS, and it rocks, and it was on 1700, of another 500 you could get the 61', but it would not fit the room I am in
