The People are the Church not the building, If the people gathered in a field it would still be Church.
Our bodies are the temple!
God dose not love the building. When we come together we are the body, each person is a member of the body.

Church is not a place/building or a temple. It is simply a gathering of people.

Temple is worship building while church really means group of people who bind together for worship. Example : Roman Catholic groups, Lutheran groups, Adventist group, Baptist group and so forth and so one.On the bible, Jesus represents the Church and the Head and founder of the church, which means Jesus is the Head of the groups of believers of God. Like the Church of God, according to the bible, it was Jesus who is the founder or head.

Mystically, the Church is the Body of Christ, and all baptized are part of that Body, because that's when we receive His Spirit. The buildings we have are temples because there God resides, hidden in the Eucharist, which is why Catholics bless themselves and genuflect toward the tabernacle when they enter.

"for your bodies are the temple of God," keep yourself holy before you go to church...that way, church becomes a temple
