If you really have IM then you must be feeling -malaise
-weakness
-high spiking fevers with or without night sweats
and of course sore throat with Lymphadenopathy(Smooth firm masses felt at your neck.)
Also rarely abd pain with masses may be felt...

While you wait for your Paul Bunnel/heterophile Ag/Specific Ag tests...it is advisable that you take rest...

While the disease is not extremely communicable,It is best that you do NOT kiss anyone as it is often spread thru this mode....hence called "kissing disease"!!

Being a nursery teacher, you can be exposed to several diseases because children have not built up immunities to them and are susceptible to getting them. In fact, it is a good thing they get some of the diseases because the natural immunity they build up is far better than any shot they may get. Vaccinations are not natural immunity and do not work the way natural immunity works. Vaccinations only give temporary immunity and polute the blood stream with many other factors that can create problems that outway the good they are trying to do.

If your internal body pH is low, you will be susceptible to getting diseases. If you raise your internal body pH to between 6.2 and 6.4, you will greatly reduce your chances of getting sick. Avoid getting flu shots because they compromise your immune system and only give you very temporary immunity to one particular virus strain that generally mutates quickly. The flu shot contains mercury that when filtered in the liver as a toxin is converted to mercuric ions and goes to the brain where it destroys the tubulon matrix around brain nerve dendrites, leaving them exposed where the clump together. This is believe to be a major contributor to Alzheimer's disease. All shots have this mercury in them and are very dangerous to the body.

Building your natural immunity makes so much more sense and is easy to do.

I had mononucleosis and hepatitis at the same time when I was in my late 20's. I passed out on the job and was taken to the hospital and after several blood tests, it was determined that I had the two diseases. I was told by the doctor that I was still contagious, but to far advanced for taking any drugs for the problem like, gamuglobulin that was given as a standard for these diseases at the time.

I was told I would have to spend at least 8 - 10 weeks in bed to allow my body to fight off the virus. At the time, I told the doctor I could not do this because I had to work and that was impossible. He told me that I could get very sick if I didn't and things like my spleen could rupture or my liver become very sick, etc. He also said there was no cure. I was so weak from the disease that I could not walk to the bathroom and had to be carried.

Well, I'm here to tell you that I was back to work as a plumber in 2-1/2 weeks with all symptoms gone, no more symptoms or remnants of the disease in over 35 years now.

The cure was actually simple. I had my wife read a book to me from the library on the liver, because I found out at the time, that the liver was where the virus was residing. I reasoned that I just need to cleanse the liver to solve the problem. As it turned out, it was the best thing I could have done.

What the cure did was raise my pH very high, cleanse my liver and solved the problem in a couple weeks.

I drank nothing but distilled water with real lemon juice from real squeezed lemons for two weeks. This was a radical fast that I reasoned would do the trick. It raised my internal pH because lemons are cationic and have that affect. The lemons and distilled water also flushed my kidneys and liver.

I lost 30 pounds that is probably not good, but gained it back relatively quickly when I started to eat. The first few days made me wonder if I was doing the right thing, but after the 3rd day, I started feeling better and as the days grew on, I felt stronger and stronger. Once I felt hungry, I knew it was time to stop the fast.

It really worked for me and I've since heard from others that this type of fast works wonders for the liver and kidneys.

good luck

did your dr not tell you???

if my kids stayed at your nursery school, I'd hope you'd stay home until the contagious stage of mono was over.

If you have mono, you can pass it on.
Your employer, if she's good, will ask that you NOT return to work until either your test comes back negative, or the contagious part is over. Your doc should have covered that with you.

Call back to the dr's office and get a note about when you should return for work.

I got mono. in Jr. high school. It's called the kissing disease, but I didn't kiss anyone! I was not allowed to go to school, so I would suggest you not take the chance of spreading it.
