dogs are fearful of anything or anyone that is different. They don't like the mailman, who dresses funny, nor the policeman.
try this..Put on a bulky sweater that isn't yours, and a big western hat..Hunch your shoulders a bit to change your shape, and enter the room. I am betting your dog will go ballistic!
Dogs raised in homes of color, are just as leery of Caucasian people..We eat a bit differently, so have a different scent about us, and we appear different. A dog can't see great detail, so a smile is the same as a grimace, or baring teeth.
Many dogs react to fear or distrust by barking, growling, hoping the subject of their discomfort will go away...Other dogs will just run or hide..
Dogs are just plain silly, aren't they!

While it may be funny to laugh at something like this there are a couple of reasons why it would be worth your while to socialize your dog to people of other ethnicities.
1. If your dog reacts fearfully to someone of another race it may, given the opportunity or put into the wrong situation, bite. Needless to say this would cause you a lot of headaches and depending on the severity of the bite and the laws where you live it could cost your pet its life.
2. This is a true story. My mom had a friend who had a small dog that was very aggressive towards black people. She never did anything to change this. One day her dog got loose in the front yard, saw a black person walking down the street and took off to chase him. Sadly when her pup bolted into the street it was hit and killed by a car. Had she taken the time to better socialize her dog it most likely would have lived to a ripe old age instead of dying so tragically.

I live in Greece, where there are not many black people. I never knew my dog was a racist too, because he had met no black people, and he was generally a very friendly dog with everyone, especially kids. One day he met a black child, and he started barking at him very badly! I think the reason is not that he is "racist", but that a different race from yours looks unknown to him. If you get him used to some black people, show that they are your friends, have them come to your house often and play with him and you, etc, I think he will get used to them and stop being like this. Just be careful during this process, so that he doesn't bite his new friends, lol.

It is quite common for animals to behave as your dog is. It could either be that when he was a pup he was abused or even just kicked by a darker complected person .
It has also been proven that ALL races smell different from each other. It is very possible that your dog dosen't like the smell of them as many animals don't. I used to have a horse that could tell the difference between a City person and a country person. I don't know how ; but he hated city people ; if we were on a trail and met up with some city folks he would drive them off the trail ! It didn't matter if there was no place for them to go but down he didn't care !
Your dog isn't prejudiced.......he just has good instincts .
don't second guess him they can sence more that we can.

I have dogs. They respond to fear. If you're afraid they sense it and push the limits.
I've never seen them react to changes in color. They don't even see color as we do, only bw.
So it's demeanor, they (your hated guys) are 'more demure'.
Edit: A funny dumb story.
I knew this lady whom I'd speak to in passing. She had a rotwieller which would go spastic every time. One time I got mad and yelled and chased that dog (what a dummy). Well the dog ran. It was only protecting it's territory. That dog probably now has a phobia of beer drinkers. lol

till you're examining to be a Veterinarinan, i can not think of why a professor could even raise this variety of stupid undertaking. (or maybe then) canines are no longer racist. canines react to the way they're raised. You kick and starve a canines, it fairly is going to be recommend and merciless. you like and preserve a canines, it fairly is going to be your only right pal. while you're racist, and practice anger in direction of a definite shade/variety of human beings, you canines will %. up on that, and stick to your occasion. No......a white canines won't hate a black canines using fact of shade. canines do no longer even sign up 'shade'. what's the priority with you? or your so referred to as professor?

If you find that amusing, then it's not the dog who's showing racist behavior.
