No offense, but the same could be asked in reverse...Are you gals really capable of being "girlfriends"?

All in all; given the number of married people, I'd think the answer to both would be YES.

It's more a question of what you are looking for in a 'boyfriend" and if anyone does or can live up to that expectation.

Someone who answered before me commented on not being "grown up" until being about 30 years old. To a point they are correct, however it isn't age that determines when a person has "grown up". More so it is their maturity level.

Could it be that you are looking at guys who are not at a mature enough level for what you are looking for?

Something to consider...where (figuratively) would you find a guy of the type you are looking for? Start looking there...if you can't find him there then your expectations might be a touch unrealistic.

(We all have a "perfect person" in mind, but most of us seldom find that one ideal person...rather we find the closest to it who sees us in the same way and consider ourselves blessed/lucky that we ever found them.)

To be honest you are or you aint it depands on the Guy and the relationship. If the relationship has its down more then ups some won't be capable but others would be true and be faithful! And it would aslo depand on the Girl that she is with If she is off then ya (some) guys are but if she's what he's looking for then he'll well really be capable!

No one has told me why I'm NOT, so I have no concievable reason to think that I'm not capable of being a boyfriend.

I think guys like me (and eveyone else) only grow up when they are about 30. By the way, I'm not 30, but then again, I'm not grown up.
