Take your daughter to your GP. Your doctors will be able to look inside your daughter's ear using an instrument with a light inside it.
What has may have happened is that your daughter's ear drum has been pierced. This is not a problem and treatment will heal it up again. One of the symptoms of a pierced ear drum is loss of balance - if your daughter is suffering from this, then it may be the pierced eardrum problem.
How come pierced ear drum? This usually happens when something is poked inside the ear to remove wax or a minor infection has got inside the ear.
There's an old saying - "Never poke anything into your ear that is smaller than your elbow."
Not to worry - your GP will sort it out. Gone in a week - promise. Have had the same thing.

**GET HELP IMMEDIATELY**
Get her to her GP asap as discharge from the ears could be a perforated ear drum. (How loud is her music?) More seriously, it could also be a sign of brain damage,(caused especially by a knock to the head) . I could be wrong but better safe than sorry. Pharmacists are experts in medicine and I visit them with any number of problems, they are not experts in surgery. So I'm afraid this sounds like a hospital job via the GP for referral.
Also I know it sounds a bit gruesome bit if you can get a sample of whats coming from her ear it may help cos there's nothing so sure as you will get to the GP/Hospital and it will stop.
Dont assume that just because she's got an ipod that this has caused it.
I really hope Im wrong but dont take chances on this one PLEASE!

I would not assum nothing at this point. I mean you no as well as anyone that that is not normal that she would have a discharge from here ear. I would not play with that. You can have a serious problem there. Dont take it upon your self to try and treat something that maybe you no nothing about. This is your child you no that if somethign like that is not treated it could even cause you to lose your hearing. Medical attention should be taken asap.

I would say that it sounds like she has ruptured her eardrum. It's not always very painful. If money is an issue, start with your chemist as it's not likely to be MAJOR. If money is no isuue then go ahead and get her a check-up with her GP.

i imagine ear infections are frequently painful somewhat than itchy. you're likely in simple terms annoying your ears with assistance from shoving your palms in them a lot. in simple terms end itching them for some days. it ought to get hard, yet do not contact them in any respect, and if that doesn't remedy it, then you definitely ought to opt to flow to the well being care service.

Take her to her GP. She will need antibiotics if she's ruptured her eardrum.
