On Monday afternoon, the guy I have been dating asked me out for a date on Wednesday, and even called me to confirm that we would be seeing each other on Wednesday, but without any details. I'm usually the passive one in this relationship. That night, I got news that something urgent popped up on Wednesday, so I asked him online if he would be able to make it on Tuesday - he didn't reply me at all! I texted him the same night - but I had no reply again. Then on Tuesday morning, I got notice that I was not needed on Wed anymore, and so I texted him that I was free so could he please tell me if we were going out because I needed to plan my schedule - no reply at all again! It is now Friday and I have not heard a word from him at all. I haven't seen him online the whole week - but I've seen him online on Facebook! What's up?

and in response to gemtonimontana - because he is the one who always initiates contact - as i said, i'm the passive one in this r/s. sounds wrong, but i am. i'm just not demonstrative by nature. and if i really meant that much, there's always email? facebook msg?

why would you assume hes stonewalling you? dont you think there is a more innocent explaination? lost phone? out of service? didnt get ur msg? leave a msg on his wall saying been tryin to catch up with you or shoot me a text. OR poke him on facebook see what he does. and dont jump to conclusions.
Edit to Jelly: well there u go right there. he probably didnt think you were that interested since YOU never initiate contact. and once you cxlled that date, he took it as a sign. im shy and i always used to NEVER initiate contact, if u didnt call me, we dont talk. but i had to get over that. guys are more sensitive than u think if they feel like they arent getting back what they put in, they give up. other fish in the sea. send him a note let him kno ur thinking of him.

Girl, hurting as it may seem..he is taking you for granted... or just needs you around when he does... don't get me wrong, this is based on the info you gave. Better not pay attention to that guy anymore, go meet someone new...even better
