By 'all needs' I mean all that one needs to live a full life? Like shopping, work, chatting to family and friends, meeting people, entertainment, receiving news and information.
In today's age, could you live a satisfying life without the Internet, or do you feel you need it as part of your life?

I'm doing a discussion class in a few hours and would love your opinions to start a debate.

it is not healthy to stay in front of the computer 24-7,and claim that u are living a life.certain things like communication cant improve through internet because u tend to hide your true self behind the monitor.you maybe can type dozens of sentences but in reality, u are slurred in speech, right?more over, life is not about ourselves only but also people around us.example, what's a life without friends?it is true that we can find friends from internet but when u are in need, can internet keep u company?i,mean there are times when we really need to talk to someone, real people and we want to be listened to...
but internet also helps us a lot, especially in todays' so called globalisation world where we are living in a borderless world.infos and news travels faster than we could imagine.with just a click,we manage to know even the news from antartica.so in regards to your q, i guess my answer is 50-50

Absolutely not.
We as humans are social creatures, we crave and need personal interaction. The internet has provided another avenue for people to lie and be untrue to themselves and others. I would be curious to know the actual fugures of people that lie on their profiles, or better yet, how about the stoopid azzzz gyrls that cut and paste another chicks pic on their own page and claim that it's them. The internet has already broken down communication among people. For example, there is a new term called "textual" ...... Where you don't really talk or see eachother but you text eachother as if you are really in a relationship. This is exactly where the internet has taken us. Or - how about our kids? They can't stand on a stage and spell their own name, but they can download, upload, spellcheck,re-boot, and find ANYTHING they can imagine on the Internet. How about that? We're creating robots with absolutely no chance of ever forming or maintaining a true bond with another individual.

The Internet does play a big part in our lives, but if we did everything on here, we would loose our social skills.
What about people around you that are the closest to you how could you live without physical needs.

The internet is essential in this day and age to have quick access to send and recieve information, what kind of information is up to you, however it does not satisfy my need to punch whiny immature children in the face who feel badass because they use incorrect racial slurs in high pitched voices, better get to work on that "Shut the hell up" button for my computer
