I been friends with this boy like 4 years, and we have never been in a relationship. But I really like him. How do I tell him?

Do what I did. It's stupid-sounding, but it works.
Get him alone and say something like, "I just noticed ever since I started college my attitudes towards certain things have changed, you know? Like there's a person I used to regard as a friend who like as more than a friend."
Hope he takes the next step. If he doesn't, but you sense he's just shy, do what I did and send him a text message that said, "Are you ever gonna kiss me?" He loved that.

I have found , that it is best to be up front and blunt.
When you find something or someone that you like, go after it. The more you dwell on the what ifs, the more miserable you will make yourself.
Tell him and get it over with. Then you can go on from there.

this is the worst advice you are ever gonna get but this is a true story with a happy ending so it may help you. Okay Stacy liked Tom since 5th grade. 7th grade she admitted to me that she liked him. I asked Tom if he ever considered stacy as a gf. at first he was like NO!! We're JUST FRIENDS!! Then I said unrequited loves are the worst... and he was like WHAT SHE LIKES ME?! and i busted out laughing saying no you do! He was flusted and denied it but then i said I betcha were happy when you thought she did like you huh? and he was like sorta then i said she really does like you... blah blah blah he didn't like her at first b/c he only saw her as a friend but, when he finally noticed she was a girl he asked her out and yay now we have a happy new couple.
um well idk if theres accually any advice in that but its a different answer then the whole CONFESS!!! (sorry if i wasted you time)

You don't have to. Just ask him out often, and have good laughs together. Buy him gifts on special occasions such as his birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day. Respect him, and make him feel happy around being around you.

Maybe you can just show him. You can hug him a lot, put your arm in his bent arm when you two are walking somewhere, and cuddle. Just be close in general to him. He'll figure it out ;)
