I have been told i get better everyday! however it seems like enlightenment has taken a downward spiral as a result from fear, anger, contempt, confusion, suspicion, etc.. I am not sure if i still want to live a lie. no one i know understands the fundemental laws of life. im alone now to forever! maybe my hearts getting colder! and i contradict myself often! It is almost 1yr since my rebirth and im confused!

If you are talking about being a Christian, then I have no doubt that you are having these problems. First of all, you expect to much of yourself. As a new believer, it takes time to understand, as well as to decide to not do those things that you have been taught are not acceptable behavior. Everyone goes through these times, even those who have been around and believe for many years. Seek the council of a Pastor, or a councilor from a ministry such as that of Jack Van Impe. You aren't living a lie, you just do not know how to control human desire. Ask God to help you understand, believing that He can, and really wants to, which He does.
