Well your right! And there should'nt be a double standard- i think maybe it is just pointed out more when a man does it, becasue ya know women are more apt to blab it all around how they were being used etc.
I think maybe the guys that realize they are being or were used, may tell a good friend or so , but don't go broadcasting it to everyone who listens so therefore it makes it maybe seem like its more acceptable for the girl to use the "fat guy" but it not!!!

Both are wrong whether done by a woman or a man.
A man can cheat on his wife and when she even moves on after letting him go there is still a double standard.
I think that the answer to your question is that the society view at the present time is that a man using a woman for anything is wrong because he is suppose to be the protector, the leader, the supporter. A man is frowned upon even if the girl is thin a beautiful. The view of the society rules at this point.
It is not acceptable, but not too many women will admit to it even though we all know that that is what is going on. They will not because it should look bad for them:perhaps not too many "kept" men will admit to that either , although we can see that that is going on.
So, do remember that it is not o.k.

It is no more a double standard that says that a man who has lots of sexual partners is a stud [positive] while a woman is a sl*t[negative]. I don't actually see people who have casual sex as sl*ts as long as both partners are on the same page as to the meaning of said sexual encounter.
Personally I tend to think that anybody who has sex with a lot of people whom they are not attracted to or do so for their own selfish gain are skanks.
There are a lot of double standards. But you can see from the answers you are getting that your assumption that taking advantage of somebody, whatever the reason is not acceptable behavior.
Doesn't matter if it a man or a woman doing it, it is wrong and most people with integrity would never do it or allow themselves to be taken advantage of.

Despite the idea that it's "socially acceptable" for women to take advantage of fat men, it's NEVER ok to take advantage of anyone. But then again, it is the person's responsibility to own up and not allow anyone to take advantage of them. Unless they are too young to know the difference. My advice to people...Don't take advantage of other people, it isn't right, and don't allow anyone else to take advantage of you, have some respect for yourself and others.

Are you kiddin' Shark? Who on earth said it's alright to take advantage of ANYONE ... regardless of what they may or may not be going through emotionally? There's no double standard here. Women are looked down upon, if they take advantage of someone, just as much as men are ... given the same situation. I think your perception is somewhat skewed.

I don't think either is socially acceptable. I don't think people should take advantage of each other no matter what they weigh. Im sure there are examples of thin people doing the same things to each other. If you want something out of someone at least be up front about it. Sex, money or otherwise. Be an adult.

nicely, I hit my pal because of the fact he tease me and he hit me back too. yet, i might cry as i'm use to it. And, we combat before. it extremely is almost humorous. If a woman that hits you is a weakling, do no longer hit back if no longer, you're lifeless. If a woman hits you and is no longer a weakling, and additionally you hit back, she will have the skill to easily hit extra stable because of the fact I do.

Neither is acceptable. A woman that takes advantage of a man's sexual desire for monetary gain is called a prostitute.

I do not agree with this double standard. Predatory dating shows that these people have no integrity.
