He said that in the beginning when he started work 2 years ago he would think about me whenever he had a second at work to think about me, and now that he is busier at work he doesn't think about me until he is off or work (he is an architect). I asked him "So the busier you get, the less you think of me?" and he said "maybe". This made me sad because I like to think that he thinks of me during the day - and I guess I was wrong thinking that he would. I'm hurt just because I feel like he lost those lil' feelings for me where he can't stop thinking of me. We've been together for 2 years. Am i just being dumb? I hate fighting with him and he said that this is a dumb topic to be arguing about.

He's not being paid to think of his needy gf all day long.
Good grief. Leave him alone before you leaves you.

(I KNOW IT CAN BE SOOO ANNOYING RIGHT???!!!Been there!)
I don't think you are being dumb, but you have to be a little more realistic though. I think this happens a lot to many people, that the guy, after the ***hunting*** of you, stopped worrying (i.e. thinking) over you since he is now secure of your affections. So because he feels secure, he sees this as unconditional love and therefore gives him motivation to focus hard on his job, in order to be successful and make you happy with his success. So, while he does not consciously think of smooching you all the time (men do not multitask much as wimmin) whilst he carefully choosing a drawing pen, subconsciously he is working because he knows YOU appreciate him working, and he knows at the end of the day, it is YOU whom he will return to and want smiles from. (^_^)v
Just cut him some slack, will you, and just give him more love!

Yeah, it's dumb.
Think about it this way, it's not that he's choosing NOT to think about you, it's just that he's focused on something else. He should be dedicated and focused on his work and thinking of you would just distract him. It's like, when you have two children, just because you're hanging out with one doesn't mean that you don't love the other or you completely forget about them, it means they aren't at the forefront of your mind.
When your boyfriend is obessively thinking about you all the time then you really have a problem. Would you like him to think about work when he's with you? I'm sure work would like for him to think about work when he's there. It pays his bills. Maybe you should get some interests of your own so you don't feel the need to be "thought of" all the time?

I think you are over-reacting - life has to go on on a business level when you are in a relationship. Why not give him a photo of you both for his desk at the office, that way you are always there for him in his office. I think it is unrealistic for you to believe that he will think about you for every spare second of his life - the main thing is how he acts towards you in your presence.

I think that your boyfriend probably needs to think about work while he's at work. You shouldn't be jealous or angry about this because it means that you have found a responsible guy. Which is a rare and very good quality. You should be happy and proud.
