the best one was the Magnum handgun..nt the best , recoils not too bad if u can handle it and an awesome noise.
the wrst handgun was the desert eagle..BAD recoil, and DONT try it with one hand.lol....i fractured my swrist one the recoil. as for the heavier ones, i guess the SPAS 14 had a bad recoil.

LoL...i dont know much about guns but i do like to shoot them...altho i hate peeps who go hunting and kill for fun so if u are one of those peeps then dont tell me...as for the guns, I'd say i like the .40 caliber and automatic 22's or however u say it:P oooh, the 40 out 6 rifles are fun to shoot every once in awhile cause the kick is fun...im wierd, i know...:P

Best gun I've handled? Best for what? I handled a hand made Holland and Holland double rifle, that was quite some device. Most effective rifle was probably the Accuracy International AW we had at Royal Ordnance. Best pistol? I'm happy enough with my Kimber CDP Pro II, I don't see a lot of difference in more expensive guns. I've shot a Korth revolver too, thousands of dollars, nothing to look at and no more accurate than a Ruger GP100.
Most recoil? In a handgun it's a toss-up between the 44 magnum derringer I shot 240gr +P+ rounds out of once. First time, and it will be the last time. When I fired it the trigger guard hammered into the back of my finger and I thought it had exploded in my hand. I still fired the second barrel. Weird trigger too. My 308 Winchester T/C Encore is soft compared to that, I can fire 20-30 rounds with one hand, it's actually more harsh if you try to control the recoil.
In a rifle? Boyes anti tank rifle, vicious recoil and an incredible bang.
The worst thing I currently have? Maybe my shotgun with 3 1/2" maximum loads, or maybe the Mossberg 500 with 3" Remington solid shot. Both of those are unpleasant.
If you want to see ludicrous recoil try the 577 T-Rex at accuratereloading.com in the humerous videos section. Their reloading data shows they hit 11300 fpe in a 13 pound rifle. Not pleasant to shoot.

I have a Winchester 1200 that I go turkey hunting with, a 10-22 that I rabbit with, a M-1911 that I target shot with and a Super Red Hawk I carry when I'm out bear hunting with my M1
