Yes. We are facing things which no one in history has ever had to face before (as well as many things which have happened before but which we continually need reminders on). This is definitely a time for God to give revelation, and I believe that he is doing so to prophets today, who are special witnesses of Christ and who can see what is happening and what we must do about it. God did not give Adam the instructions on how to build an arc. That was meant for Noah's day, in Noah's time. The same applies to today, and the bible alone, as great as it is and as much as it has, was never meant to be the ultimate revelation from God. Why some believe that God has been silenced, never to speak again beyond the bible, is beyond my understanding.

Yes, because even tho the Bk of Revelation has always been an open book, Daniel has been a closed book until the end times, as directed by God. Meaning people will not understand a closed book. And God will not open people's minds or eyes to it until the designated time He decides to open it. Well for some yrs now, people are reading Daniel more and more, along with Revelation and are understanding it and studying it.

I think that God has been speaking to us throughout the ages. Most of what will be termed NEW, is actually just a new way of combining the old to look outside the box. With the widespread influence of things like ADHD and other "new" mental disorders, we are having more people who use different parts of their brains. Get a cluster of these people together, right brained (artistis) and left brained (logical). We'll see what we can really come up with.
Atheists represent the logical side while religious/spiritual types lean more towards the "artistic"(poor word usage...sorry). There has to be a bridge between these two points.

The Lord has told us in the scriptures what was to happen in the Latter Days. Only if we are in tuned to the Holy Spirit will understand the true meaning of many of the things written. Plus, remember in the days of Ole, did the people listen and heed the prophets? No, many did not, they only mocked and murmured. Well, as a parallel it's the same today. I believe that there is a Prophet that leads and guides the world today, but many mock him as my religion. If we listen, study and read the Scriptures and study and know the things of which the Prophet speaks we will not fear, but will be prepared. Keep your faith and pray often.

If so, it's just as vague and exclusive as before.
I think the problem with the revelations is that they were given to people. Men are imperfect. A perfect god would not rely on such flawed messengers. God would have told us directly if he had a revelation.
So, the revelations of the Bible--not divinely inspired. God isn't stupid enough to rely on people to spread the word. And any revelations that are "obvious" today are either coincidences or convenient events that are attributed meaning by those who seek meaning in anything.
If God wants us to have a revelation, we'd have one. It would not be unclear at all.

God's words are set in stone. The revelation in the Bible has already started and will see it self through. There is no, and will be no new revelation to the bible. It says what it says and that's how it will happen. "God's will be done..."

The scriptures speak of such persons:
2Ti 3:1 But understand this, that in the Last Days there will come times of difficulty.
2Ti 3:2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,
2Ti 3:4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2Ti 3:5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.

Not new, but opening the eyes of some. God has opened my eyes, to all truth concerning scripture, the Word of God and the Myseries of heaven and earth. It is for your ears. It does not matter if you do not believe in my words, but believe in the words of Him, that sent me.
Repent, be baptized with flowing water, and with fire and turn to the Word of God, or you will die the death.
