i play a game which doesnt work .it says that I need to restart the comp in DOS mode . I dont know howt to do it. Can you tell me how to

the finest way is to make a DOS boot-up floppy disk. Insert a floppy disk. proper click and format. elect the DOS boot-disk verify field and format the floppy. then even as restarting enter into the BIOS and regulate the boot gadget priority to A: you'd be in DOS the subsequent time you restart your workstation. get rid of the floppy and restart to flow to XP again

Restart the machine. Hold the CTRL key during the boot process or tap the F8 key after the first system beep. You should get a selection screen for DOS etc.

Ha! Well, I sorry as I not there. But, from where I sit, I would just hold the start button on front in until it turn off and re-boot. Let it do a Scan-Disk if it want.
