it doesn't affect some people that much. depends on who u're and what race you're. For example, metaphysical studies have shown that for the natives, if they sleep lesser, say 3 hours a day, they can have better memory than these that sleep 6 hours. There's a certain frame. You'll have to try it to believe it. Generally sleep deprivation does affect memory to a bit. But the word deprivation is misleading. Some people do well with lesser sleep, like the example of natives. The reseach was done with 100,000 random samples thoughout the world with 32 countries.

well it would really depend on the person, i don't sleep much, up for 72 hours, and it has not effected my memory, nor did it when i did not sleep for a year, or two, except sometimes i would get maybe half an hour sleep.
