your age and their age really make a difference. for example, i'm 19. if i were to date someone 4 years older than me he would be 23. personally, i dont think that's too much older. i would probably date him. but, if i was the one 4 years older, then the guy would be 15 and that's a little weird. i'm sure he wouldn't have a problem with it because he'd be with an older girl. but, for one, it's illegal, and two, 19 is just more experienced and more mature than 15.
if you are a minor you should really think about that. consider (maybe) how your parents would react. would you be able to date this person if they're 4 years older than you? and if you did date them, would you have to hide the relationship from your parents?
i have actually been in a situation like that. when i was 16 i met a guy that was 19 and we started to like each other. but, my parents thought he was too old for me. we still hung out as friends but it evolved into a romantic relationship and i had to hide that from my parents. i was too young to be in that type of relationship and especially with this guy because he was much more experienced than i was and well...it ended badly and i was the one left hurt in the end.

just consider all the circumstances. if you're older than a teenager, i dont see a problem with a 4 year difference.

It depends upon the age range. In younger years, a 12-year-old is in a very different bracket than a 16-year-old. After the age of 18, the 4-year difference ceases to matter. An 18-year-old dating a 22-year-old would be no big deal.

Well, I guess it would all depend on the maturity of the people involved. Girls tend to mature faster than guys, so if both of them act their ages, then I don't think there is anything wrong with being 4 years older or younger

Depending on how old the girl is. Like if she's 16 and your 20 then that's fine if your responsible. But if she's like 14 and your like 18 then no. But all depends on how old she is and how you are.

that depends if its 16 and 20 yes, but if its 25 and 29 no. so it does depend on what is the younger ones age

depends... Once ur in your 20's it's really not that big of a difference anymore after that. If ur in highschool or lower.. its a little strange, but hey if you really like 'em and it works out, go for it.

no, no , no and no. The personality counts, God how many times have the psychologists told us that it is based on personalities- that ensures anything will work out, not based on some years you were born in!
