Well you'd have to consider the age difference compared to your ages. I mean, if he's 10 years older than you and you're 30, then that isn't a big deal at all. If you're 14, then yeah, that's a problem. But, it depends entirely on ethics. Some people will think that a 20 year old should not be dating a 30 year old. Some will have no problem with that at all.
My belief lies in that so long as both partners are adults mature enough to make their own responsible decisions, age is just a meaningless number and love is by far the most important factor. Follow your heart.

Age is truly a number. Personal preferences and maturity levels is what really matters. The only drawback is if the age difference turns out to be a drawback from a physical attraction standpoint. In that case it probably will not work out. If that is not a problem then do not worry about the age and enjoy the relationship like any other and do what feels natural.

You met this guy? You mean on thecomputer? you are dating but he doesn't know you are l0 years younger than him? i think I have the picture. You can't call it dating when you haven't even met yet!! Ten years is not necessarily a problem but it could be a huge one. Lets sayhe is 40 and you are 30 no problem, He is 30 you are 20 - still not a big problem -- He is23 you are l3 Huge problem. Don't let this guy show upon your door only to find out that you are way too young for him -- Tell him your real age now. It's funny but young women always try to sound older but keep in mind that men try to sound younger. What is wrong with you -- tell the truth -k-

Age matters as it relates to the stage of life...when you are 16, then 26 would be very old in terms of life experience. Two people 26 and 36 would be more on the same level. When one is 60 and the other 70, there could be a huge difference between their health and abilities.

In general ...age does not matter. Yet, you said that he is coming down to see you. Will this be the first meeting between you two? If so, you need to be very careful. Although it seems the two of you hit it off very well, you've got to be mindful of your safety, most especially when meeting a stranger for the first time.
Exactly what ages are involved here? Are both of you legal adults, or is one of you a minor?

Dear! Nishabd is reply. There are, infact, thousands of examples, live, where age has not mattered for certain areas. Yes , ofcourse, in respect the longivity for companionship there are chances of losing the elder one earlier. But who knows the length and age of life. Whatsoever llittle time one gets one must enjoy the present. Dont bother yourself about difference of age , if otherwise is OK

When you say your dating does this mean you already have physical contact?Age is'nt to important providing you're around 25 or older. But if you're a teenager I'd be wary.
