If I tell my credit cards that I have a husband, and that he has a good job in Canada, but pays no child support, and I have no job, what will they do? Will they go after him for the money? How would this affect a divorce?

If you tell your CREDITORS they will go after him for your debts-do it quickly -before the divorce!! I suggest you take him to Court and get a support order-forward it to the The Family Responsibility Office, (Branch of) The Ministry of the Attorney General and they will garnish his wages by sending a letter to his employer which they must comply with. You must provide the employers name to both the Court and to the Ministry.

I would suggest you to join a debt settlement company who will negotiate with your creditors on your behalf and try to bring dwon your principal debt by around 30% to 70% depending on your credit companies.

You can make affordable monthly payments and get out of debt within3-36 months. There are no hidden costs and upfront fees associated with the monthly payments.

Check this debt settlement company who has helped me with the unsecured debt situation.
