Prayer is how we talk to God. It says in the Word to pray in private, and not make a spectacle of it. The way I pray, is to first quiet my surroundings and my mind. Then I just talk to Him. I sometimes am doing more talking- and sometimesI am doing more listening. The way you know He is telling you? God says His sheep know His voice. I have to say, this is true. God speaks in a faint still way, it is an inviting and calming familiar voice. He says things to me that are way wiser, than my own ability. Also, to discern that it is actually Him, whatever you hear, will be found and backed up in His Word. There has been times that I have recieveda message from Him, and immediately found it backed up, in the Bible;as He led me to it. Seek Him, and you will find Him. He promises us that. By the way, Aya; saysto ask for whateveryou want; that is not what prayer is ; it is not to gain for our flesh, it is to grow in our soul.

Concept of Allah The God
1. Allah (SWT) 'God' is only 'One', has no partner or son, and neither gives birth, nor is He born. He is eternally besought by all and has no beginning or end, and none is equal to Him (Holy Quran example)
2. He is the Merciful and the Compassionate, the Guardian and the True Guide, the Just and the Supreme Lord, the Creator and the Watchful, the First and the Last, the Knowing and the Wise, the Hearing, and the Aware, the Witness and the Glorious, the Able and ' the Powerful. (Holy Quran example).
3. He is the Loving and the Provider, the Generous and the Benevolent, the Rich and the Independent, the Forgiving and the Clement, the Patient and the Appreciative, the Unique and the Protector, the Judge and the Peace. (Holy Quran example). The question of Allah's (SWT) 'God' existence has preoccupied men's minds for many centuries. Those who believe in Allah (SWT) 'God' seem to agree that the limited finite human intelligence cannot prove the existence of the infinite boundless of Allah (SWT) 'God'. It can only illustrate or demonstrate his existence to the satisfaction of the curious human mind.
Those who deny Allah's (SWT) 'God' claim to rely on science, philosophy, or special theories of knowledge. Their arguments are sometimes inapplicable, sometimes irrelevant, always complex, and often incomprehensible. However, the developed mind will find its way to Allah (SWT) 'God'. Failure to find the way does not mean that there is no way. Denial of reality does not make it unreal.

I can easily answer the first part of your question; I talk to God all the time, in every way that I can. When it is appropriate I try to show him that my actions are connected to my thoughts, for example by clasping my hands together and closing my eyes while I ask his blessing before I eat. I also try to be respectful when I talk to him, and I try not to ask him for things which I might not really want, which is harder than you might think, because sometimes certain things look pretty good in one particular moment, but are not necessarily what is best.
as for the second part of your question, I can't tell you that. What God tells me is between me and him, and can't really be shared with another person because human language is too flawed. but I can tell you that it's pretty great and listening to what God has to say is the best part about being alive. open your heart and your ears and you will realize you have always been able to hear it.

All I do is concentrate on Him. Then talk to Him just as you would anyone else. God is a spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. You will know. Here is the best way I can describe it. You know when you are about to do something that you know is wrong and you get the voice on the inside of you(we have grown to call it a conscious), that is the voice of God(His Holy Spirit). When you hear and feel that feeling you will know. May God Bless U.

I agree with the first answer. Talking to God is easy, talk to Him the way you would your favorite Grand-parent. He knows what is in your heart, but verbalizing what you want him to know brings your thoughts from your subconscious into your conscious mind, so it becomes easier to remember.
Remember when you would run into the house and ask you mom if it was OK to go play at a friend's house. Before your mom opened her mouth, you just knew what she was about to say. Start with God and ask Yes/No questions. You will start to sence a positive or negative response. Over time those feelings will be well become stronger. Eventually you will understand more complex words and sentences..

Just talk to him, talk to him in your head. But you do have to believe in Him. And not just talk to yourself.
Here is an example.....last night I wanted to know something, cause I watched a video and it crossed what I believed. So I just asked Him...." YAHWEH...(get at tingle feeling)....show me the truth, guide my hand ".
Well the Bible says he will guide you by your right hand....what do I hold a mouse with? Within an hour, another video I was watching, that I just clicked on cause the image was cool, there was my answer....and when I heard the answer....that same tingle....so I knew that was it.
Another would be after I posted something while back......every day, everywhere I turned I saw 3:33. Clocks, specials on menus, email, like someone painted it everywhere. That night I scrolled through all the passages of 3:33 in the Bible. And there in John....my answer to the question I had asked. And it wasn't like a newspaper horoscope that can fit anything. Was a direct, precise answer. Hence why the book is in so many numbers, for He will use them to talk to you.
Call Him by name and if you believe, He will talk with you. And you will feel Him when you speak His name, just like anyone, they pay attention when they are called the correct name.
His name is YAHWEH, YHWH. Not God, Lord (bad word, go look it up), Elohim and Allah is just God again.
Anyone who knows YAHWEH, knows you feel HIM when HE speaks. Its HIS love.

The Bible is the word of God. Reading it, studying it will give you help as it communicates God's will to us.
Prayer is a way we can communicate back to God. The Bible is very clear that if we pray honestly, sincerely, that God will hear us. Again, the Bible teaches us much about how to prayer.
consider Jesus' words in Matthew chapter 6.
Praying is talking with God. Be open, be sincere. Don't try to impress God will flowery language. He hears a person's heart, not their head.
god bless

It's true that in order to remove the barrier that is between men and God you must accept Jesus Christ. With that the indwelling Spirit that you are bestowed with is going to make the connection and you are counted as one of His in His perspective.
Then you just talk to Him about anything, anything at all. Just as if He were someone that you loved and respected.
I could write on, I just cannot put those above things in any way better. You do not have to talk to Him in stained-glass tones.

The best way to talk to god is praying for him whatever your religion is , just pray for him and while praying talk to him with high respect , and ask him for every thing you want .
But for knowing what he is telling you , it is a higher level , depending on the strength of your relation with Allah , and i think it will be just feeling that you got the answer and you'll find yourself doing the right thing that he told you .

First of all you must know that there is only one God, and only one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ. Therefore, we can come before God because of what Jesus did on the cross of calvary.
All you need do is tell God what's on your mind and heart, and ask Him to give you ears to hear what He would have you know.
I ask that He bless you and be with you.
