I heard somewhere that often times men are too intimidated to go after a beautiful girl because they think that the chance of rejection is higher and they go for ladies who aren't drop dead gorgeous because they are more likely to accept them. Plus, a lot of men are afraid that really pretty women are stuck up and high maitenace and things along those lines. Or maybe they figure a beautiful girl like that must already be taken? I don't remember where I heard this, but it struck me as very odd, so I just wanted to know if there was any validity in that theory. Any thoughts?

I think that some men are intimidated by a beautiful woman, but I think most are going to just take a chance. Just as in some women might be intimidated by a really great looking guy. I work in a casino and the women I work with and many of the women who go there are amazingly pretty, and they never seem to have a lack of men who are interested in them.
The main thing is, looks fade. No one will stay drop dead gorgeous forever. So in the long run people need to have more depth to them than just their looks. A lot of men you see with not so attractive girls may have also just matured enough to know that looks are just a part of the package. The inside is still what counts the most. It is what lasts.

Yes i think so too. Most guys feel pretty girls must be with some one already and that they are difficult to keep. However the real beauty of a woman is inside her not just external beauty, A girl could have a good figure and still be a nightmare. When guys want a fling they look only at your figure and good looks but when they need a life partner or a serious relationship they consider your character a more valuable asset

I think this is definately true. I guess its the same with women too though, if they see a mega hot guy they sometimes get intimidated. Perhaps the hot girls out there need to initiate conversation with the boys first if they want to get a date as this would lead the male to be more comfortable about asking them out.

sure that's amazingly plausible. you basically suggested she seems shy. possibly she's shy and per chance adult men are intimidated to consult her because she is exceedingly. oftentimes circumstances a shy demeanor is misinterpreted as being stuck up or intimidating. a lot of adult men would not want to attitude a woman like this for concern of rejection. basically because she is exceedingly does no longer recommend she has had the nerve to attitude any adult men that she's been interested in. basically because a woman is exceedingly would not immediately recommend that she must have the most experienced courting list. truly, i'm keen to guess this lady probablly wonders why adult men do not attitude her.

This is very true. Men want top have a beautiful wife but they are very uncertain of her Fidelity and ofter become so jealous that they are abusive, and often accuse their wife or girlfriend of being unfaithful. Men are also very attracted to a woman who is intelligent but if she makes more money that they do they feel threatened and again become obsessed and jealous

could happen but don't us women do the same thing alot of the time when we see a nice looking man we think that he is to good to be with us and that he is already got a girl so why can't it happen with men that way to?

i don't think it matters that you may look as if your so beautiful that you might even belong to somone else. cause if a guy wanted you that bad then he'd steal you away from another man! maybe you seem stand-offish. like your facial exression might look like your taking a shiat! lol j/k but just act a little slutty wear revieling clothes & don't have sex!
