How close do you think we are to the Rapture?

Very close. Just one example: We went from gold to cash to checking account , to credit and debit cards and now to fingerprinting and eye scans. During the 7 yr tribulation period, the people left behind will have to take a mark of the beast on their forehead or back of the hand in order to buy or sell. Well, this procedure wouldn't phase anyone even if it happened tomorrow. Could be like the chip that animals get in the back of the neck in case they get lost. Events cast their shadows before them. We are living in the shadows people, wake up, watch the news! The battles of the Armageddon war will take place in Israel. News centers around Israel. The 7 yr tribulation is a period of time when God deals mainly with Israel. Read the Bible - it's close! We cannot know the time and day, but we can know the season according to the Bible.

In the description of the battle at Armageddon, there is no mention of a country like the USA that stands with Israel. I think that's because the USA will be a Muslim country by then. I think that will happen by the 2038 elections. So rapture by 2040, give or take 33 years (time span enough to include tonight).

I think that it is pretty close. What I have my eye on right now is the current movement of President Abbas of Palestine in recognizing Israel as a nation. If that movement, which includes Egypt catches on, it will be the forerunner of the Anti Christ, who is supposed to begin peace in the Middle East, though short lived, it will be a clue to the beginning of the Great Tribulation-- the rider on a white horse and a bow.
