breakfast- instant breakfast, which is a glass of milk and instant breakfast mix

lunch- an apple and baby carrots

dinner- whatever my mom makes, which is like usually, chicken, potatoes and some vegetable

I don't snack, but if I'm hungry inbetween lunch and dinner, I have a cup of tea.

oh, and is it possible to get hunger cramps....from being hungry....cuz I have been getting some, but I can't tell if it's cramps, like from my period of from hunger, lol.

That is a pretty good diet. very healthy.. if you are having hunger pains you need to eat a little more. for a snack have a piece of fruit. drink alot of water to help with that too..

good luck with your diet!

This diet will work, if you combine excersize with it. You should do at least 30 minutes a day of cardio and also some light weight lifting. I have done this for 4 years now, and I lost 70 lbs doing it. Try to avoid potatoes, and maybe replace them with wild rice, or vegetarian baked beans. Anything like white rice, white bread, and such are more devastating to a diet because it increases your hunger. They have a high glycemic index. Drink lots of water, and stay away from juice and pop. You should start seeing results within a couple of months. Hope this helps, good luck!! Oh, and those hunger cramps are normal, and soon they will go away, but you need to fight through them. :)

That sounds like an excellent diet that is low in saturated fat and good in the intake of vegetables. If this is your typical diet, I would also suggest variety and that you incorporate the following foods:

Fish twice a week (not fried), especially the cold-water variety. This contains healthy fats, including omega-3 fatty acids. Fish has proved helpful for neurological function and is correlated with good heart health.

A handful of nuts once a week or more, and/or use of olive oil in place of regular fats. Nuts also contain healthy mono and poly unsaturated fats.

To increase your intake of fiber, incorporate more whole grains and legumes.

The key is to eat what you want, within reason, with good variety, and to try to stay within the established guidelines from the American Heart Association. Save for the instant breakfast mix, which is probably a blend of sugar with middling vitamins, I think that you're doing very well. Keep it up! :-)

P.S. If you are experiencing many hunger cramps, you might want to increase your caloric intake provided you are not trying to lose weight. If you want something filling, try low fat popcorn in 100 calorie snack bags. These always taste great, and the fiber helps fill me up for hours!

Cheers, and good luck on your plan! :-)

if you are hungry it means your body is sending you a signal that it need more fuel. you are not eating enough. breakfast is the most important meal of the day when you get healthy carbs (whole wheat bead, oatmeal, fruit etc.) they give energy.
you have to eat lunch. (apple and carrots can be snacks)
you have to find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and thats how much you need to lose weight the healthy way.
8 glasses of water a day
5-8 servings of fruits and veggies a day
portion control - 5-6small meals a day instead of 3 big ones
cardio 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
