I remember reading and saving an article maybe 2 years back about camping in a tree (possibly sequoia trees) very high above the ground. I lost the article, but i am interested in trying it out. I can't seem to find any info online, can anyone point me in the right direction or help me out? Thank you.

Here's what I found:

Dancing With Trees : Spending the night in the trees is a unique way of camping in north Georgia. It's an all inclusive vacation

Tree Climbers International: they would know the whos and hows.

and a couple of overseas/rainforest type excursions.

There is a book (Rock And Rescue) . Its basically Every thing you ever wanted to do with ropes. Maybe Pmi can help you they are a rope manufacture. It would seem you should be looking at rock climbing outfitters. they should have gear that would meet your needs. WoW enjoy the Green
