Doesn't it make you furious when someone gets awarded best answer just because they made a funny comment or comeback in their "answer", even if they didn't answer the question at all?
You bust your butt off trying to give as best and accurate an answer as possible, and this clown comes along and says a funny one-liner about the question that is in no way an answer and the asker is all over them, going "LOL :))) *wink wink* that was funny, you just made my day"

No. If we are clever and get the writer's attention, we are doing what we have to to get noticed. Loosen up, Monk. You don't have to think of a snappy comeback if it's not you.
If you're busting your butt for the knowledge and expect reward, realize maybe one out of every 6-20 answers on average becomes a best answer. You are spoiled to think everything you do gets Scooby snacks. I sure have to hustle as well as think to keep my points up.
