Just write down whatever comes to mind. All of your feelings for her and how she means so much to you. If it doesn't come out smooth or poetic, that's okay. It's original and from the heart and that's what a true love letter is anyways. And don't worry if it comes out sounding kind of cheesy. It's better than being completely unoriginal and copying something from a book or someone else. It takes guts to say what's really on your mind.

I know how you feel, sometimes it can be hard to express the feelings you have for someone you love, without sounding like a mushy fool. But, never fear, there is a way to pull off the romantic gesutre without sounding extremely un-original and soppy. The key to a good love note, is to keep it simple. Nothing is better than opening up a sweet little card that is genuine, and shows that the writer really cares; as opposed to some ridiculous, over-the-top letter that just seems so unnatural and fake. Allow me to reemphasise my point (very innarticulately): BE GENUINE AND SAY WHAT YOU FEEL, BUT IN A SHORT SWEET WAY!! Here's an example:
dear (insert name),
Just wanted to let you know that I love you. You're a beautiful woman, and I'm proud to be your boyfriend.
I love you.
(insert your name)

Good Luck!!! I know my note isn't that great, but try to build on it and maybe put in a little joke or something that you both share. Whatever it is, I know your girlfriend will love you for it regardless. :)

Just be honest. Actually telling her what you truly feel and not some B.S. is what works. I know that at first it is really super hard but then as you get started it just seems to keep coming out. The key for any relationship to work is honesty. So just be honest with her and tell her how you truly feel. Sometimes love letters that come from the heart and aren't all mushied up are the best thing a girl could ever get.

Close your eyes and think of her and what you feel and see write it down and that will touch her.
Don't be lame and say what we all hear everyday.
My husband took a picture of me on a trip and He wrote out he definition of beautiful and placed it like a matte around the picture. It was the sweetest thing, he said that when he read it he thought of me.
(this is tmi but he likes to read the dictionary)

Writing a good love doesn't really exist. What makes a love not good is when you write what really feel inside. So to whoever that is I hope she likes it. She must be really special for you going all crazy about how to write a good love note. (I think that is so cute and romantic) GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Quoting poetry is awesome!!! You are both new to this, so quote someone else until you develope words of your own!
Sounds cheesy, but it will help get you through the rough spots until you get the confidance to put it into your own words!!!

The first thing that comes to your mind when you think of her. How she makes you feel...what about her that makes you smile...How the days go by faster because you know you are going to see her at night. Stuff like that. We girls..at least me anyways...like the simple stuff. You don't need to get all fancy.

First it would help to know her well enough to know what to write in the love note...then you wouldn't have to ask strangers.

Close your eyes and listen to the rythm of your heart. Try to figure out what your heart says about your girlfriend and put in out as beautiful as you can in words for her.
All the best!!!! Be blessed!!!!

start off by being honest with yourself , if you feel love in your heart for this person let all your feelings flow straight from your heart.
