Hello Jeanne,
In this world, there are many families who express their likes
(affections) by softly caressing each other---my family is very
much that way. A guy who's softly touching your face or run-
ning his fingers through your hair or softly brushing your arms
and shoulders is only showing you that he likes you very much.
I bet that if you quietly asked him to stop, he definitely would.
He might ask you why?, but he would respect your wishes.
On the other hand, if his touches are NOT soft and caressing,
then he may have "other ideas", and certainly should be firmly
told, "No!!". (..and you don't have to be quiet about it..)
Jeanne, I softly touch girls I really like. But, the girls I don't like,
won't ever feel my velvety touch or the warmth of respect.

Most guys like to feel soft, firm flesh, and that is a way for him to show you that he likes you. Most of the time, touching like that will lead to future touching, in further locations on your body. If you're not quite ready for a sexual adventure with this guy, don't let him get below your shoulders. If you permit him to touch you below the shoulders, it will lead to things that you might not want him to do.

that is the prelude to prelude to serious touching .

if this tickling gives you pleasant sensation,

let him go further encouraging him, tell him " you can tickle my thighs "

not all guys tend to do this .

as for me I like light hugging and holdong hands,

of course I do those things only if I like the girl.

i think guys like to be real touchy to see how far they can get with a girl or to make a girl feel special every girl is special but they dont need some guy continueing to touch them unless it is allowed by the girl he should keep his hands to himself

Sounds like a flirt fest to me. If you're interested in him- let him know in a subtle casual way and see if he reciprocates. If not then take it for what it is.

guys are just sexual like that. You have to expect it. I think that you and him do like each other. Try it out (the gf and bf thing!)
