Naproxen is the best with ibuprofen coming in second and aspirin next.

Aspirin and Tylenol are pain medications, but they're not an anti-inflammatory. An anti-inflammatory reduce inflammation. Have you asked your doctor which she would recommend? Naprosyn and ibuprofen (as well as Tylenol) can be hard on the liver if taken for a long time. For short term, ibuprofen would be a good choice.

I would say that naprosyn would be your best choice for an anti-inflammatory, but be very careful when taking anti-inflammatories because there hard on the stomach so make sure that you coat your stomach before taking. i'm a nursing student so i'm giving you firsthand info

I prefer aspirin, but some people cannot tolerate it. Tylenol and ibuprofen is also good. Ice compress can possibly help too.
