Naproxen is the best with ibuprofen coming in second and aspirin next.

Aspirin and Tylenol are pain medications, but they're not an anti-inflammatory. An anti-inflammatory reduce inflammation. Have you asked your doctor which she would recommend? Naprosyn and ibuprofen (as well as Tylenol) can be hard on the liver if taken for a long time. For short term, ibuprofen would be a good choice.

I would say that naprosyn would be your best choice for an anti-inflammatory, but be very careful when taking anti-inflammatories because there hard on the stomach so make sure that you coat your stomach before taking. i'm a nursing student so i'm giving you firsthand info

I prefer aspirin, but some people cannot tolerate it. Tylenol and ibuprofen is also good. Ice compress can possibly help too.

its best to check with your doctor and make sure there is nothing else going on like an infection. but i have found ibuproben to help. but you really need to check with your doctor.
