...am thinking of getting a staffy pup...any info on which sex to choose???

girls kill the grass, boys kill the bushes..... other than how they pee there is no real difference as a pet. boys are cheaper to neuter than females are to spay. check bylaws in your area- lots of places are banning and restricting breeds like staffies, don't invite a nightmare.

if you are a woman get a male and just the opposite for guys make sure that you get into a good train class and get the staffys good citizenship cert this way the city you live in cannot label him aggressive and check with insurance for home also

Just go to get your puppy and see which one warms to you the most. Don't look between the legs. You want the one that matches you the best. I have a male staffy and he's absolutely wonderful. We neutered him so he didn't get any male territorial issues.

In *general* Males are better with small children.. Other than that, it is just a matter of choice. Males are also more dog-aggressive, but you are going to train and socialize him so well, that that won't be a problem.
