It really depends on how you are traveling and where to. Outside the country they might not allow fruits and hygiene products may be easier to buy once you are there since you can have accident's with leaking bottles. Buses are pretty open to what you can have (no firearms, no animals, no explosives etc) but planes are a bit less forgiving, check with your airline to see what is on their banned list. Since 9-11 alot of rules have been put into place.

You should check the airline you're travelling with. You can bring liquids for kids but you have to declare them. Bring something that is sealed like juice boxes. The worst you could have to do is toss them no big loss, if it's something open you might need to take a sip. They'll also have drinks and snacks on board.

Yes you can bring snacks. Just no liquids or a liquid consistency, if so it has to be less than 3.4 oz. So stick with goldfish, pretzels and other easy finger foods, just stay away from pudding, fruit cups and things that have liquid in them. I am traveling with my 3 year old twins on Saturday, and I had the same question. I checked on line on FAA.gov
Hygiene products you can have 3.4oz or less and it has to be in a container of 3.4oz or less and then inside a quart size zip lock bag.

I am assuming you wish to travel by plane. If that's the case, you'll need to contact the airline, they'll be able to tell what you are and are not allowed to bring on the plane. Every airline is different.

the best advice for this one would be to speak to the company you are traveling through, either the airline or the bus company, they should give you a booklet or a pamphlet stating what you can and cant take with you. i hope that this will help you, and have your journey a happy one for you both.

go to the website of the airline you are going to be on. There is usually a search area, where you can type in your question. There may be the answer on their webpage... if not.. contact the airline and ask them.. they will know for sure.
