Wouldn't falter my thoughts at all, many of our best actors, designers, poets, authors have been gay and they have enriched our lives. Besides, isn't God made in our "own" image so somewhere out there somebody must believe he is gay.

I'd have to question the Vatican's suggestion that it would actually be a piece of the Bible because the Bible's stand on homosexuality is so clear.

My honest response is the bible as it reads this minute is God's word. People have been try to add or take away from it for hundreds of years. But it still stands......as is.

They would not be recovering anything, because there are no missing pieces or books of the Bible to begin with.

It wouldn't affect my faith at all. God made sure that everything that he wanted included in the Holy Scriptures is there. There is no man that could ever change that, so anything presented as bible text now would be a fraud in my eyes.

We Muslims believe, that Jesus was one of the mightiest messengers of God that he was the Christ, that he was born miraculously without any male intervention (which many modern-day Christians do not believe today), that he gave life to the dead by God's permission and that he healed those born blind and the lepers by god's permission. In fact, no Muslim is a Muslim if he or she does not believe in Jesus!

...are we talkin' the "cannon" or all the other gospels by all the other writers accross the centuries...Mark being the oldest in the "New Test.", written 80 to 125 yrs. after the fact....or are we talkin' "Bibles", and whose ????...
cause King James had some REAL far-out ideas which had nothing to do with early gospels....

...or are we talking about ANY book that is taken as true 'cause it says it's true in the book ?

It wouldn't make any sense to me, and I would question the validity of that claim. God has already said that homosexuality is wrong but if he had said it was OK then it would be a different story. We also know that our bodies were made for the opposite sex not the same sex.

The vatican would bury it in a library vault like a lot of books and other things that have come their way and never been seen again.

The moment I heard it on the news I would go "Ah-Ha!" in a very loud, triumphant manor.
