I am a Catholic Christian and I will answer your question. Most "Christians" do not truly understand the teachings of the Bible, only how to interpret it. As a Catholic I get it also. "The Bible says......" is there favorite quote yet they do not understand the message. And when they are not comfortable with what they believe and are called out, they get defensive.
Jesus says to tell you that he exists, that he loves you, and that he wants you to go to heaven. If you don't believe it, Oh Well, I'll pray for you. That's what the Bible teaches

I agree it's frustrating, certainly, but if I didn't take some sick, sad pleasure in it then I guess I wouldn't come back day after day...I guess it depends on your expectations - I don't think I'm going to change anyone's mind, I'm not trying to. I just like observing humans...and - so far - discovering the rare "real" answers has been worth having to wade through all the other poop.

What about my answer did not address the question? I seriously want to know, because I thought I had. I chalked it up to defensiveness because of insecurity; and I answered as a Christian. But perhaps I misread the question. I didn't read everyone else's answer but perhaps there were a few others who misunderstood as well.

I AM a Christian-struggling, and I am telling you that NOBODY on this entire planet has the right to judge you for ANYTHING. Your belief is your belief. As Christians, of course, we are supposed to preach the Word, but we also are NOT supposed to judge people who don't convert to Christianity. It is my belief that God works on His own time. And honestly, I think He is working on you right now. I am not judging you. I think its great that you have the cohoneys to express how you feel.

Yes. I also love how they offer all of the above when someone asks a question that isn't directed toward them at all and that doesn't apply to them.

Arguing with people who adhere to a belief system and use pre-approved answers instead of thinking for themselves goes nowhere. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes you just want to do it, but it's ultimately pointless.

Happens to me everytime.

Once, I kinda legitimately answered a hate-mail from a Christian, that woman then called me "imbecile" and told me not to annoy her

where do you think morals came from...just popped out of no where...i am a christian and i tell you this...i dont judge...you can believe what you want...my goal in life is to help peoople with the understanding of god and jesus, who died on the cross for our sins...it is ard for me to accept because i believe that i wont see you in heaven, where i will be, the only way into heaven is through jesus christ...the feeling that you have when you wake up a christian is all you need for your life...i need no more but a relationship with god...i wish you could experience this...thats why we preach and argue and whatever you think we do...think of it this way...there is a 50% of going to heaven through god and a 50% chance og going to heaven without god or not going to heaven at all...what would it hurt to place your bets on the 50% with god...what would it hurt...can you not spare 10 mins a day for prayer or 1 day out of the month for church...and you dont even have to do those things...once you are saved you are saved...nothing you can do will take that back...hope all turns out for you
