everyone else decided that i looked younger so i cant decide whether he ment it as a compliment or he cudnt think of anything else to say...so it was pretty much an insult...wat do u think?

It if was genuine, no insult. If not, then he was simply hard put, or intended an insult.
It is hard to know.

On the contrary, 'fresh faced' is a compliment! It infers a glowing, clean look. There's nothing wrong with that!

It was a compliment.
Fresh-faced to me means young, healthy, good complexion, not heavily made up, with a friendly and unassuming expression. Naturally pretty.

I think it's definitely a compliment. You wouldn't say that someone was "fresh-faced" if you thought they looked awful; it's a way of saying that you look alert and rested and youthful.

It means you look young and happy; he probably wanted say something different to everyone else.

he/she looked at your photo and and said'you look fresh faced'...it could be a compliment meaning 'a innocent young girl'. But it could mean by photographical term 'with no makeup on'.
