Do you think my boyfriend is being strict on me?
Yes & no
Can't go the pool or be in my swimwear in public without him
(If you were the guy, you would NEVER get jealous of your girlfriend exposing all in front of every kind of horny guy around in the pool, or in public, would you? Great! Too controlling? Get on yahoo answers and use your Goddess powers to blast how evil he is for being worried that nakedness causes lust & stalkers!)
Can't have a myspace page
(Gotta be careful with that, might get seduced by an online guy. Seemingly insane to ask that of you, I personally have seen people break up over "online" guys or girls)
Can't wear shorts to school
(Wonder why? Legs are not sexy? Oh, go ahead, dress skanky then complain when guys fall all over you! Hey, its NOT your fault!)
P.S. And guys never tell you that because... I have worked around them & I know for a fact, they worship women at times & will tell her she is in the right just cause she looks good & they want a piece. Whistle, yeah, show more boobs!)
Can't have any guy friends
(Seems a bit strict, but hey, at least that way you wouldn't cheat on him maybe?)
K, I think that is what he is thinking. What your thinking, don't get me started, I already know.

Honey you need to kick his *** to the curb. Its the 21st century for crying out loud not the 19th! Sounds like this guy Is Insecure and wants to control evertything by bieng all big and bad. There Is nothing wrong with having guy friends..sometimes they are the best to have around. Wearing a swimsuit is your own choice because Its your own body and a myspage page Is your own choice. Besides If he Is this controlling now think of what will happen later on. Get out now and breath a huge sigh of relief that you did.

I really hope you're joking. If not, you have a real problem. Men who try to control you often become abusive. Get away from this man as fast as possible. A person who really cares about you doesn't need to try to control you. This is supposed to be a friend, right? Not a parent. Why should a friend tell you what to do? Get this person out of your life. If he becomes threatening, call the local women's shelter for advice.

certainly, distinctive than the no longer allowed to hold palms of kiss at college (how could she understand?), she would not sound too strict. optimal human beings i understand have some form of time they are in a position to't be on their telephone previous (even with the undeniable fact that if he's eighteen, so as this is form of weird and wonderful). after all, she further on one better hour basically for you. That sounds quite effectual to me. that would not make it sound like she would be in a position to interrupt you person adult males up. If it fairly starts off becoming to be to be a controversy, confer such as her, yet be respectful and open to what hse has to declare and her motives for being the way she is. grant some form of compromise, like on weekends he can use his telephone til 11 and you person adult males won't teach PDA round her yet even with the undeniable fact that can at college. i'm hoping all is going top! xx

some chicks need and crave a controlling man -- otherwise they will be tagged a "nice guy" and kill the relationship - so he's really doing it for you
However he should drop rule 1 as swimming is good for keeping in shape and rule 2 about myspace s/b changed as its good for working on your typing -a potential future skill to earn some money
rule 3 and 4 should stay the same

Abusive men start out as control freaks and escalate from there. I don't think you should put up with it. Is he a lot older than you? Either way, I think you should let him know that you aren't going to tolerate anything less than an equal relationship. If all he is doing is trying to protect you, he needs to find a way to do it without being controlling.

If you even have to ask that, then yes he is too controlling. Just because he loves you he shouldn't be able to dictate what you can and cannot do.
True love is based on alot of things, trust being one of them. He obviously has no trust in you and that will only cause problems now and later.
Be careful, because this type of controlling behavior can escalate into something quite serious.

Way too controlling! Why would you let him tell you what you can & can't do like that? Don't you have any say about your life? I think he's way to insecure & imature! Lose him & find a guy who can treat you right! It sounds like he could end up being one of those crazy guys that would rather see you dead then let you leave him! Get out now!

It sounds more like you're in a maximum security prison than a happy relationship.
Let me say this to you plainly: if he is placing all of these restrictions on you, it means he does not trust you. This is his method of containing you--preserving you for his own private enjoyment. He does not want other guys looking at you, because he is afraid that you will leave him for them.
He has no right to dictate how you behave, and should love you for who you are; not who he wants you to be.
I recommend that you leave this relationship as quickly as possible, before it escalates into abuse of another sort.
