I traded in my leased BMW 1 month prior to my lease due date at an Audi dealer they said they would take care of my final payment, I asked them if I had further responsibility for the BMW and they said no 2 weeks later I get a call from the BMW dealer saying I owe $400 to fix damages on the BMW , the Audie dealer had even had my BMW on there lot for a week for sale.. what would you do?

NO YOUR NOT RESPONSABLE FOR THOSE DINGS AND SCRATCH.S aAS THEY SHOULD OF CHECK THE CAR OUT REALLY GOOD BEFORE YOU LEFT THE CAR THERE ON THEIRE LOT FOR SALE ARE TRADED IT IS CAUSE AFTER YOU MAKE A DEAL WITH THE DEALER THEN IT WILL BE COME THEIRE PROBLEM NOT YOURS AND IF THEY DIDNT CHECK THE CAR OUT THEN WHAT MAKES ME OR YOU BELIVE THAT THEY ARE SOME ONE ELSE THAT MIGHT HAVE TEST DROVE IT MADE THOSE DENTS AND DINGS SO TELL THEM I AINT GONNA PAY YOU CAUSE YOU HAVE NO PROFF THAT THEY WAS THERE WHEN I TRADED THE CAR IN BUT IF THEY CAN PROVE WITH OUT A SHADOW OF A DAUTE THAT THEY WAS THEY ARE YOU DID MAKE THE DINGS THEN YOU MIGHT HAVE TO PAY THEM THE MONEY IF IT GOES TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT OR IF THEY SUE YOU I HOPE THIS HELPS OUT THANKS AND GOD BLESS............

I'd tell the Audi dealership to pay up if you signed an agreement if not then you'll have to pay the damages unless you can scare the crap out of someone at the Audi dealership.

If the paperwork is sign, sealed, and delivered I would not worry about it. After you have paid and signed, then they are trying to forever screw you or the next customer if they can get away with it. Now I do presume that all paperwork was FINALIZED. Cuz if not you might then really get the shaft. But I would not worry if you have already signed off on it.
