im 25 and i have 2 sons but my parents raised 4 daughters and my dad was always harder on my nephews and my mom was always harder on us girls ..she always said boys parents dont have to worry about there daughters getting pregnant..Well i see it like this ..girls can only get pregnant one pregnancy at a time but boys can go out and get 3-4 or more girls pregnant at once ..would u rather have ur daughter pregnant or your son out there spreading his seed and possibily getting more then one girl pregnant at one time?...am i the only one who thinks like this?

I would rather my daughter be smart enough to keep her legs crossed and use disgretion when choosing the person who could become the father of her unborn children. But your father is right. So a guy goes and sows his seed amongst many...He isn't the one left to make the choice of abortion, adotpion or keeping the baby once it is born. He isn't the one left to raise the child, he isn't the one having to rely on the support of the tax payers to feed her child. Get the picture now?

It is true that a male can get many females pregnant at once. However it's the woman that will be the primary caretaker and perhaps suffer social and economical setbacks because of the baby.
I know a few men that became dads when they were in their teens or early 20's and their doing great. But the mothers are almost all over-worked and worn out. More so than women who waited until they were more financially secure or had a large support system to help them with their kids.

I think like you to...just remember a baby is forever, unless abortion or adoption is an option, males and females need to be educated in sex, about protection and respect for each other, casual sex and 'friends' with benefits, are risky nowadays, how many people is partner sleeping with while seeing you at the same time? This goes for males and females.
Just remember all, if you do this kind of high risk sex, remember you are having sex with everyone your partner has had before. USE protection. Birth control, or Deprovera shot, CONDOM. Tell your daughters and sons to wait until you are in a committed relationship..

All kids need to be watched. The fact of the matter is, parents are more protective of their daughters because honestly, they're more vulnerable. Girls are typically the ones who come home crying in a relationship. And they're the ones who go through 9 months of labor. If a boy goes out and gets seven girls pregnant, he will typically get off scotch free.
They aren't hard on you, they're just trying to protect you. I wish my dad would've given me a dating limit. No reason except I'd feel more like he was worried about who I was with.

I dont know why girls get it harder, but you are right to a point i have two girls and i dont want either of them pregnant. but i guess people do look at it the girl has to bring the baby home if the boy had to bring the baby home from the hospital the parents probally would treat them different.

Because our job as females are much harder and whatever hardship you are exposed to toughens you up so what life will throw at you, (often much harder) will not be a shock to you. I personally won't treat my kids separately but I do help my daughter to toughen up. The boys are naturally tough at times.
Try to look at it in a different light. You are not on your own.

I think that parents, in general, would like to see thier kids make the most of thier lives before becoming tied down with children! Get a good education, make some money, have a good job and a good relationship BEFORE you get knocked up and bogged down with children and bills! No parent wants to see thier child struggle, male or female!!!
What have we come to when we think, GEEZ! My daughter can only get knocked up once every year or so, but my son can knock up fifteen people in one year if he wants too???
I would tell my kids what schools have told them for the last 20 years: If you have sex, you may get pregnant!!! SO DON"T HAVE SEX AND WE WON'T EVer have to deal with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! iF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MEANS TO TAKE CARE OF A CHILD- DON'T HAVE ONE!!!!!!!!!!

honey, i have 3 sons. now tell me why would i be worried if they go and spread their seeds around? it's not like those girls would come to me. they will go to their parents and their parents would need to take care of them and their babies. it is as simple as that. so i am not hard on my sons and anyway, i wouldn't mind if some girl would come and leave me her baby to take care - i love children
