what kind of question is that? There are damn 12 year olds today that look like they are 22! I'm um...29 *cough* and people tell me I look like i'm barely 18. Thank Goodness for that!

Yes, both can happen and it's not uncommon. We all develop and age differently. In addition, people have different facial features which may cause them to look older or younger. At 23, I often get mistaken for only being 20/21. When I was 21, I use to get mistaken for 18. Personality wise, someone once thought I was 25 by the way I acted.

YES! I'm 24-1/2 years old and people say I look 17-18 years old. Other minors can get cigarettes because they look 18 even thou they are about 16.

very common. when i was 18 i used to have my 16 yr old best friend buy drinks because she looks much older.
Im now 22 and i was just told yesterday i look 15. anybody over 27 usually thinks im between 16 and 19. i think i look and dress my age especially at work. go figure.

Totally not uncommon! Sometimes people cant help it if they look older than they actually are or younger. My sister is 23 and people keep thinking she is 16. She is short mind you and very thin.
