when I read the bible and its context i dont think God insired men to write the bible. example in the first 5 books of the old testament it is believed moses wrote them, we find quotations as "and the Lord said to Moses, and Moses said to God"

but when it is analised we find, if moses was speaking to god it would have been written like "And God said to me...or and I said to God" its simple english it sounds to me someone other than moses was writting them.

and the new testament the bible shcolars reject the view that Mathew wrote Mathew, because the key point is at the beginig, "And jesus saw mathew and he said to mathew come and mathew went" if mathew was writting about the happenings he would have written it like " and jesus said to me come and i went" or something to that effect.

the 27 books of the new testament the bulk of it is paul, and the majority of the bible are by unknown authors.
If god insired these men to write god would not forget what he said to moses

No one really knows. The bible you receive is an edited version and numerous "books" written during the same timeframe have been deliberately omitted because the 'editors' decide they didn't fit with their version of what the bible should say.

The most accurate source is to learn to read ancient Greek and Hebrew and decide for yourself.

The History Channel has a very good program about books omitted from the King James version of the Bible.

God inspired men to write the bible, but not in the way a sunset might "inspire" someone to write a poem. The Holy Spirit inspired men to write down exactly what God wanted it to say, and used each writer's own individual style. So, if Moses or Matthew wrote in the third person, it is because that's how God wanted it to read. After all, it is God's story, not Moses' :)

Sometimes, God had the writers use the first person (I), and sometimes the third (he). I don't know why, but I'm sure he has his reasons.

Even though we may not know the identity of all the writers of the Bible, that doesn't mean they were not inspired. And the author IS known -- God.

The Bible is God's written Word to us.
It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Above all you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21. (New International Version)

Breakdown of the Bible
36 human authors inspired entirely by God over 1600 years.
66 separate books
39 Old Testament
Genesis- The creation of the world, sin, flood and birth of Israel
Exodus to Esther- History of the nation of Israel
Job to Proverbs- the books of poetry and wisdom
Isaiah to Malachi- Prophecy or foretelling of the future events to come.
27 New Testament
Matthew to John - Four Gospels representing the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ now with all authority in Heaven and earth.
Acts- Birth of the Church (The Bride of Christ)
Romans to Jude - Letters to the Churches
Revelations - The ultimate future plans for: The Church, Heaven, Hell, a New Heaven and a New Earth.

We have not way of knowing all the hands that went into creating the bible. Hell it was written over 2000 years ago yet silly men of today are more than willing to accept the bible as pure actual truth. Go figure...

The human men wrote the Bible. They were inspired by God in the same way that you and I may be. The same way that, for example, a good movie or picture may inspire you to write an essay.
