I have heard it referred to as 'inner vibrational touch'. (the Seth Material, by Jane Roberts)
It's much more vital than empathy. Using this inner sense, a man looking at a woman would be able to literally experience what it is like to BE her.(this is the only way to truly know someone) I call it the second perspective.

I consider it to be a feeling that is on the edge of seeing. I 'sense things, including auras occasionally, yet I rarely actually see them.
It sounds a little 'Star Wars/Jedi' but I essentially reach out with my astral being/feelings and attempt to relate to that object astrally. I don't know if that makes much sense.
Usually however I don't sense them in the same way you would a physical object. I often feel colours and emotions linked to the object and these leave a stronger imprint than the physical shape of it.

Biologically speaking, feeling is a neurological event and once you have experienced it, you can recall and sense it again (like living something in a dream, it is very real with real sensations). I had three dreams I was in labor the other night and all of them were very real (I was exhausted in the morning).
I have also just known when something was wrong with loved ones. I knew when the phone rang that my aunt had died. I just had to call my mom and my sister was going in for emergency surgey. These things happen all the time to me and to my son. He will tell me I have to call someone and when I do, they needed me. It isn't a physical sensation as much as an emotion, but that's my experience with it. hope that helps your book.

I'm not exactly certain of what you are talking about but if you are referring to a spiritual thing, then yes I have and do experience it all the time. I have upon many occasions tried to explain to someone that I know the Holy Spirit lives within me, not just believe it does, or think it does. I can actually "feel" that spirit.

You can feel infrared rays (aka heat) without touching anything. You can feel the heat of the sun, without having to touch the sun.
Anyway all that psychic mumbo jumbo is a bunch of crapola, so go find something real to put your time into.

This is an idiotic question. You have "feelings" genius, they pretty much do all of the emotional feelings, and no, you don't have to "Feel" "Sad" to feel sad.

I would call this faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for but, not yet seen.
