Yes it certainly does. Organic agriculture does take a season or two to neutralise the bad effect of chemical fertilisers and input and after that the output in organic becomes better both quantity and quality vice.

Organic has many advantage and few of them are:
1. Improves the quality of land.
2. Improves fertility of land.
3. Less pollution.
4. Waste becomes raw material.
5. Good for biodiversity.
6. Saves foreign currency.
7. lessens dependency on foreign inputs.

The best is that the produce is free of maximum kinds of chemicals, insecticides and pesticides and this will certainly improve the health of our people. We normally waste cow dung and even burn straw from various crops and here we are using this and also saving a lot of foreign currency and dependency on imported inputs.

Organic is certainly the answer to our agricultural problems and food security.

In organic agricuture, the yield is less than the inorganic farming. the land availability is limited and we r in need of more food grain requirements for our increasing population. in this occasion if we adopt organic agriculture definitely we will face big threat shortly.

already we r practicing organic farming in dry land farming unknowingly (where most of the farmers not using any fertilzer regularly. these can be certified as organic product to get maximum benefit)

Yes it does! and so beautifully...

With over a billion people and counting just imagine the amount of bio-degradable waste we are sitting on!!!

This is pure Gold as far as agriculture is concerned. Since we are imitating the West, we are now directionless, clueless and waiting for something to happen

We just need to take charge:

1. For organic agriculture to take strong footing we need to
-Organize: our resources, our time and plan in a structured way.
-Individual households should activiely participate and understand how waste from their homes can be converted to manure.
-New constructions (homes, apartments, commercial buildings) should include bio-decomposition in their construction plans, better still the Govt should make it mandatory that buildings should be constructed with solutions to acheive 100% bio-degradable solutions.(inside their homes / or the local communities should get to-gether)This will generate tons and tons of manure.
-The other benefits: reduced sewage, reduced insect growth, reduced mosquito growth, reduced usage of public land for sewage dumping, increased health in local communities etc.
-Now that we have organic manure available, these have to be sold to farmers / agriculturalists / individual home owners....
-Advantages: low cost healthy manure leads to less usage of chemicals; increases crop production etc etc, healthy plants with more nutritiion etc etc
