Yes. I'm about 5'3".

Yeah...however, I'm short..only 5'2 and I went out with a guy who was about 5'5. I had to wear flip flops and flats a lot because I did not want to be taller than him. It felt wierd when I would wear my heels. I'm actually more attracted to tall guys 5'10 and up only because they look better and are stronger. If he was shorter than 5'2..that would be a major turn off!
