How do I deal with a bipolar mother?

She's driving me crazy!!! And not to mention the fact that I hate her! Well, I'm sixteen so I'll be out in 2 years..
But she plays favorites[my lil bro being the fave] and she lets him get away with almost anything but explodes in anger if i do anything wrong!
what can i do[aside from just kissing ***, i cant stand to do that] to stop the fighting??

I know this sounds lame but try real hard to just walk away from her when she goes on like that. or you can smile and tell her you are trying to see things her way just try to do what you can to defuse her anger at that moment. be funny or caring just don't argue all you do is give them more power because their feelings build to get bigger and bigger for them. I am sorry that you are dealing with this I wish you luck because it is one of the most difficult things to handle for everyone that knows this sort of person.
