I was brought up Christian. I denounced Christianity feeling that the religion couldn't be backed by the book. A lot of research lead me to Islam and I almost converted. What stopped me was in depth comparison between the the Bible and the Qur'an, Christianity and Islam and all of this in comparison with numerous other religions and spiritual beleifs. I came to the conclusion that the nature of God cannot be undesrtood yet God must exist. I believe that God is revealed to us in all aspects of life, physical and metaphysical. I believe God wishes us to respect everything around us. Additionally I beleive God has provided religions to us as means of getting us to examine all aspects of life and the world around us. In doing so we can possibly achieve universal harmony.
Very simply I'm saying that I bleieve religions to be a divine lesson, they will over complicate life with devastating results but when compared open midnedly salvation is revealed in a form not unlike Taoism.

Yes and no
I'm not a Taoist and I wouldn't even CONSIDER Islam knowing what I know and dealing with Islamics as bosses and business owners.
I am firmly not a believer in ORGANIZED anything. Especially religion!

Those who lean unto there own understanding of scripture are leading others astray and blinded by their "pride!" But this has to occur for the Kingdom of God is coming to this earth and establish His way as the only way.
Pride is man's downfall. The End of the circle of man's self rule will be the beginning of Christ's Kingdom but that "pride" must be broken first!

To me, GOD is love. No matter which religion you choose to be in, LOVE is where GOD is. If you close your eyes and just think of the word GOD with all your heart and sincerety, you will feel the presence of GOD in you. This is true.
Religion is man made channels to reach GOD, religion might test you but GOD never does. Religion is not GOD. Those who continue to look for the perfect religion will never find peace in their life. Those who only look at GOD ...will.
