alright well it depends on how fast your parachute opens. I've seen somebody do a base jump off of a 200 foot cell phone tower and he landed fine because it only took abotu 150 feet for his parachute to open.
At my dropzone, we have the option of doing a skydive from 14000 feet or 5000 feet. I'm sure you could go lower if you wanted to at certain dropzones, depends on your experience and comfort level.

The question should be what's the lowest height you can FINISH a sky dive from.:-)
