Hi. I live in Brunswick, Ga. Last Thursday there was a 6 year old boy that went missing. They found his body today. Just wondering how could anyone do that to a child that hasn't even had the chance to live yet? Are there really people out there that is that sick? And how could the parents of that child actually cop with that?

this is the world we live in. and it's so, so sad. i can't imagine what his parents are going through, my heart goes out to them. i know it's cliche but at least he is in a better place. it's much nicer than this place we call home.

There are many sick people out there, in this world. The child would usually know that person, a total stranger would likely be less a suspect in question in his disappearance, than say an estranged relative. Unless that child was lured from a public place from a stranger that has fetishes for children, called pedophiles. They have severe mental issues, if they choose to hurt a child in anyway, shape or form.

It's extremely sad when a child leaves the earth before his/her parents do..look at Jonbonet Ramsey...as an example. Many children go missing every year. It's the parent's worst nightmare, let alone find out their child has been murdered, or tortured. I have a 5 year old son myself.

The grief would be unbearable, one of their own, a part of them is gone...a part of their soul, a part of their being...some I would say commit suicide, some may go for years of counselling...eventually they would have to move on with their lives, (the ones that cope) but they will never forget that ever for the rest of their lives...

Yes there are people that are that cruel, heartless, emotionally dead is what I think they are!!!! They only "get off" on having power over others, destroying others' belongings, they like to act tough, but actually on the inside, they probably hate themselves;but need others admiration to feel worthy of their puny lives. Having a small child like that killed would be so very difficult for most parents to get "over/through", but not all parents love their child, sad to say! I can't really say that I understand either of these things, I just know what I've seen, people that feel useless or powerless like to destroy people/things. It gives them a false sense of being important. They want their 15 minutes of fame, they don't care what the reason is. Count yourself blessed that you don't understand how/why people can do such foul, nasty things to others. There are all kinds of sicknesses, some physical, some mental, some both! Some people have never been taught right from wrong, or ever been shown love, these are the ones you have to watch out for! So it's up to all of us to be kind as we can to others, it just might make a difference in lives & we will most likely never know. Don't expect THANKS from anyone, but still be available to help others, when possible! Shine the light of goodness & love in your corner of the world, it will do more good than you will realize. I do not mean allow yourself to be walked on by others either, OK? Some people will take and take and take, never giving back to anyone else either. You will learn to spot those folks after awhile. I am dreadfully sorry to hear about that poor little 6 year old boy & hope all that have been affected by his death will survive beautifully, as odd as that sounds. Hope you and others understand!!!

I have no clue. Taking the life of a human at any age is horrific, especially one that young. And the parents assisted. Which is worse. Why would you want to kill your child?!
I also saw another article that other child, some time recently, had his father stab a knife in his back and throw the kid out of the window! I am so glad he is in stable condition. it just has to be horrific. The mother, the older brother, the child knowing that, once he has grown up his father wanted to kill him. That is sad. :(
God bless their families at this time, and be with America's children. Protect them with your strong arm.
God bless America
K.K.

There are some really sick people. It used to be that strangers committed these types of acts. Now children are murdered by the parents. It is very sad.

What's so shocking about this? And what exactly is your question? Yes OBVIOUSLY people are fcked in the head and do this all the time, each day it happens somewhere, many are never caught and do it time and time again! A good percentage of the time, the parent(s) do the killing themselves...so thats how most deal with it. Did you not hear about the lady you drowned all her kids then put them in bed dead! People are fcking crazy. And lots are online just lurking for someone so niave as yourself to con into meeting them! So be careful who u talk to and show that you truely live in the hole in your backyard!

There's a lot of evil in the world. I don't understand how anyone could do harm to little kids, old people, or animals. Mean ol' cowards. They are too afraid to pick on someone who could pick back. I am sorry about the little boy.

People are twisted. I don't get it either. It's really sad to know that this happens moreso in a society that's supposed to be proper and intelligent. That really shows how much intelligence we are lacking and what lowlifes really do exist here. Some people just... don't deserve to live at all for the crimes they commit but we can't do a thing about it unfortunately.

HONEY THAT IS VERY SAD AND YES THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT HERE THAT ARE THAT SICK. IT'S ALL IN THE BIBLE WHICH IS FULFILLING ITSELF, THE DEVIL IS BUSY, WE HAVE TO STAY PRAYED UP AND BE VERY AWARE OF OUR SURROUNDINGS ESPECIALLY OUR CHILDREN. AS FOR THE PARENTS NO I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT THEY MUST BE GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW I CAN ONLY PRAY FOR THEM. IT WILL BE HARD BUT GOD HAS THE LAST SAY IN THIS AWFUL WORLD AN THE WICKED WILL HAVE TO PAY.
