Elephantiasis is a skin disease due to nematode parasite. It typically causes gross enlargement of limbs. I have only ever come across one case, and that was in England where a lady had bulbous legs around her calf and shin area for the rest of her life. I do not know what medication is available now, this encounter was nearly 40 years ago, but I hope that the description helps.
